Research Structures is the studio for commissioned design, art, architecture and research of artist and designer Ben Cullen Williams. The studio aims to challenge the conventions of how we traditionally see and understand space, light and form. Through this process we aim to understand more about the relationship between us and the world we inhabit.

Ben Cullen Williams b.1988 studies the boundaries between art and architecture his work seeks to investigate the phenomenological elements of light, space and form. He questions digital and physical fabrication processes to understand our evolving relationship to matter. His work crosses medium, from sculpture, installation, photography to film. Ben studied at the University of Edinburgh and at the Royal College of Art respectively. He lives between London and New York.
